About INDE

Pronounced as IN DAY, INDE meaning my heart in the Ojibwe language. INDE is an Anishinaabekwe owned apparel company representing how love, intention, and spirit is put into comfortable yet sustainable clothing for everyone. Erin is an Ojibwe beadwork artist and designer who finds inspiration in the land, the seasons, and the medicines around her. Through INDE, she brings that same heart into apparel, creating pieces that invite others to feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful just as they are.

Our Promise of Quality & Care

Each piece is made from 100% organic cotton dyed without harmful chemicals such as chemical fertilizers, toxic dyes, or pesticides. All of INDE’s shipping packaging is made with recycled materials. As an Indigenous led brand it is our duty to think of the next generation and how our carbon footprint impacts the livelihood of future generations. It’s our commitment to be eco-friendly and to not only keep the future generations in mind, but our lands and its well-being. Each piece is made in small batches with premium materials, embroidered with care. Every piece carries the intention to honor Ojibwe artistry through quality, comfort, and authenticity.

About the Artist

Erin Allen is a beadwork artist and designer from the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. Born and raised on the Lac du Flambeau reservation, Erin creates pieces that honor traditional Anishinaabe beadwork and design that have long carried stories of medicine and resilience. Her art is deeply personal, reflecting both her journey of self-discovery and her commitment to helping others embrace their own beauty and light through design and comfort.

The florals are more than designs, they are symbols of life, healing, and connection to one another. They represent the beauty of life and the love that continues through generations. My art continues to heal me, and through it I hope to honor not only my own journey, but the healing and well-being of everyone through their own journey.
